The Real People’s Manual for Real Power in this All-Too-Unreal-World
Notice: The following uses militaristic terms to describe armies and ranks based on the real military command structure. Some will be tempted to read my words as a call to arms. It is not. On the other hand, some may also misinterpret my words as a call to non-violent activism. It is also not that. In fact whether the ideas gleaned from this piece lead to violence or greater peace is not up to me. If the people collectively choose to get violent, they do so from their own will. So too, if they choose restraint, it will be from self-determination. My own views are irrelevant.
The people will rule themselves. Such is their right. Such is their destiny. As for me, I will discourage neither violence nor peace. Instead I will encourage structure and democracy and empowerment.
Decisions won’t be made by me, but by command structures operating in this new form of democracy, which you will learn herein that I call “blue key.” If this structure brings violence, it will not be at my behest, but as a result of the will of the participants.
Likewise, if it leads to greater peace and an absence of violence, neither shall that be my doing. Again, this is about empowering real democracy—not subverting it.
Some might say this is a blatant attempt to overthrow the government. To that I say this: The Constitution makes clear what our government has forgotten. We the people are in charge—that from a hierarchical standpoint, we the people are always above the government collectively. We always have been and always will be. Therefore, while what I say here may result in a government overthrow, I say this: The government has overthrown its people, but in our republic the people are king. In order to restore power to those people is not a breach of law, but the restoration of it. Let’s get started:
SECTION ONE: THE COLLAPSE WE ALL SAW
I don’t have to tell you the story of the decline of our empire.
You lived it. You’re living it. You’re frightened by it and, like most, you feel helpless—unable to figure out what to do. You’re afraid of what comes next. Can this really be happening here?
In a word. Yes.
In a few more: The sooner you get over that and accept it, the sooner we can get on about the business of what comes next.
You watched your government give trillions to banks while your neighbor got evicted.
You watched elected officials protect stock portfolios while hospitals ran out of masks.
You watched working people line up at food banks while billionaires launched themselves into space.
You watched as they stripped away civil rights and deported people for exercising freedom of speech.
That wasn’t just a crisis. That was a reveal.
It showed us the truth:
This system doesn’t serve us. It survives despite us. It thrives because we’re powerless to stop it.
We vote. We plead. We protest.
And they send in riot cops to protect oil pipelines and banks.
This is not democracy.
This is not freedom.
This is not how a nation run by the people behaves.

So how do we take it back?
Not with hashtags.
Not with hope.
Not with another election where both parties work for the same donors.
We take it back by doing the one thing they never saw coming:
We build a structure.
We build it from the bottom up.
We build it quietly, powerfully, and everywhere at once.
And we use it—when the time is right—to bring the machine to a stop.
This is not a protest.
This is a manual.
And if enough of us follow it, we will build something that cannot be bought, co-opted, or crushed.
Let me show you how.
SECTION TWO: THE MYTH OF DEMOCRACY AND WHY WE NEED STRUCTURE
They told us we live in a democracy.
They told us our voice matters. That we choose our leaders. That the system is fair, or at least fixable. That if we just knock on more doors, make more calls, donate a little more, vote a little harder next time—things will change.
And for a long time, we believed it.
But here’s what the last decade has shown us:
Democracy doesn’t exist because someone put it in a textbook.
It exists only when the people have power—real, usable, organized power. The kind you don’t have to beg for. The kind you don’t have to win in a rigged election.
Ask yourself:
- When was the last time your vote stopped your rent from going up?
- When did your protest stop the cops from breaking down doors in immigrant homes?
- When did a senator’s speech lower the price of insulin, or keep your job from being outsourced?
They call it democracy, but it’s a spectacle.
They give you the illusion of participation and call it representation.
They let you shout in the streets and call it freedom.
They let you vote for the lesser of two evils and call it a choice.
That’s not democracy. That’s containment.
So what do we build instead?
Not chaos.
Not a mob.
Not just another protest.
We build a structure. One so disciplined, so distributed, and so quietly replicating that it spreads under their noses until it becomes unignorable.
And we start it the same way all real movements begin:
One person. Five trusted people. A mission. A code. A structure.
SECTION THREE: HOW POWER ACTUALLY WORKS
Let’s make this plain.
Power is not charisma.
It’s not speeches or votes or followers.
It’s not moral superiority or being “on the right side of history.”
Power is structure.
Power is a group of people who:
- Know who they follow
- Know who they command
- Know what they’re fighting for
That’s how governments work.
That’s how police departments work.
That’s how empires work.
They have:
- Chains of command
- Succession plans
- Discipline, enforced by structure
- And absolute clarity about who answers to whom
They can lose a leader and still function.
They can take a loss in public and regroup behind closed doors.
They don’t fall apart because one person gets arrested.
And we have to be just as organized. More, even.
Because we don’t have their guns.
We don’t have their banks.
We don’t have their courts.
What we can have is structure.
And we can make it democratic in a way they never will.
Let me show you what that looks like.
SECTION FOUR: HOW TO BUILD AN ARMY OF ACTIVISM STRUCTURE, STEP BY STEP
In the military, you don’t start as a general.
You start as a private. Just like everyone else.
And this is where the structure begins. In an activist army:
- You recruit five people.
- People who trust you.
- People who believe in the mission.
- People willing to learn, act, and lead.
- They form a unit. All for one and one for all.
- This is for their safety—and yours.
- You’re now a corporal.
- You lead five. They answer to one.
- Each of your five recruits their own five.
- That’s 25 people in the next layer.
- You are now a sergeant.
- The 25 become 125. You become a lieutenant.
- The 125 become 625. You become a captain.
And so on.
Each time, you move up only because your people moved up.
You lead only because you teach others to lead.
You hold your position only as long as your five allow it.
This isn’t a promotion. This is growth.
You don’t take power. You cultivate it.
SECTION FIVE: BLUE KEY DEMOCRACY- ACCOUNTABILITY FROM BELOW
Every system that has ever enslaved people, stolen land, crushed labor, or silenced dissent had one thing in common:
Unaccountable leadership.
It’s not the structure that corrupts—it’s the absence of discipline flowing both ways.
In this movement, we don’t abandon structure—we perfect it.
And we do it through a simple, powerful concept called:
Blue Key Democracy.
This is how leadership is held accountable in our ranks.
This is how authority is earned—and how it’s removed.
This is the safeguard against tyranny, chaos, ego, and corruption.
Let me explain exactly how it works.
EVERY LEADER SERVES AT THE WILL OF FIVE
In this system, no one commands more than five people.
No one follows more than one leader.
If you’re a leader—at any level—you lead a unit of five. That’s it.
They are your downline. But they are not your property.
You train them. You guide them. You lead with purpose.
And in return, they grant you something far more powerful than fear:
Trust.
But that trust is not permanent.
And it is never unconditional.
THE BLUE KEY
Each of the five subordinates in a unit holds what we call a Blue Key.
Not a literal object—but a responsibility.
It represents their equal share in the right to remove a leader who has:
- Lost focus
- Abused authority
- Abandoned the mission
- Or simply failed to lead
When this happens, any member of the five may initiate a silent vote of no confidence. This ensures better unity within the unit.
They do this through a secure, anonymous communication channel set up when the unit was formed.
There are no real names. They choose anonymous handles.
When someone types the phrase:
“Key turned.”
…it signals their vote to remove the leader.
But here’s where this system draws a hard line:
The Vote Must Be Unanimous
Every single one of the five must turn their key.
All five must agree.
Even one member abstaining, hesitating, or voting against removal means:
The leader stays.
This preserves discipline.
This prevents impulsive or emotional decisions.
This ensures that leaders are removed only when they have fully lost the trust of their entire unit.
WHAT HAPPENS IF A LEADER IS REMOVED?
There’s no trial. No shaming. No exile.
They are demoted to the lowest-ranking position in the very unit they once led unless they choose to leave.
The other four choose or acknowledge a successor among them—usually the one best prepared to lead.
The structure does not collapse.
Only the unit reorients.
Everyone above and below the unit remains unaffected.
This is surgical, precise, and entirely internal.
And the demoted leader?
Ideally, they stay in the mission and learn from their errors.
They continue the work.
They may one day rise again.
Because no title is eternal, and no mistake is disqualifying.
AUTHORITY TO REMOVE- BUT NOT UNILATERALLY
Leadership flows downward—but so does accountability.
A leader may also initiate removal of someone in their own downline if they become:
- Disruptive
- Disloyal
- Dangerous to the mission
- Or otherwise unfit to serve
But just as subordinates must agree to remove a leader unanimously, the remaining four members of the unit may veto the dismissal of a unit member.
If all 4 veto the firing, it does not happen.
Unanimous veto. Or the subordinate goes.
This ensures that:
- Leaders maintain authority to protect the integrity of their unit.
- No one is fired without full consent of the peer group.
- Accountability flows in both directions.
This isn’t democracy for show.
This is structured democracy with teeth.
It isn’t mob rule.
It isn’t a dictatorship.
It’s balanced.
And to democratize it further, each unit may set its own rules of removals, vetoes, and dismissals as they see fit. It is possible to have a centralized structure with a decentralized command authority because we are not setting up a government but a structure for unstoppable activism.
VACANCIES TRIGGER PROMOTIONS. NOTHING ELSE DOES.
There is no campaigning.
No jockeying.
No titles handed out for popularity or noise.
You move up only when a vacancy appears directly above you due to:
- Resignation
- Death
- Long-term imprisonment
- Or removal
At that moment:
- The most prepared person in the immediate downline rises.
- A new private is recruited.
- And the structure remains unbroken.
This is how we lead.
This is how we hold each other accountable.
This is how we remain incorruptible, even as we grow.
This is Blue Key Democracy.
And it is how we take power—and never give it back.
SECTION SIX: HOW THIS BECOMES AN ARMY WITHOUT DECLARING ONE
No one announces the founding of a storm.
It gathers. It spreads. It becomes.
This structure you’re building—it doesn’t begin with tanks, uniforms, or speeches.
It begins with one person. Five people. Then five more.
And somewhere along the way, it stops being a theory and becomes a force.
But make no mistake:
This is an army.
Not in the way the state defines one—though they’ll try.
Not with weapons or flags or televised parades.
This is an army in function. In precision. In discipline. In capacity.
An army without declaring one. That’s not to say it cannot mobilize as a real one (with weapons) in a moment’s notice if provoked, but to say that is not its purpose.
Here’s how it happens:
You decide your cause—what you want to do. Feed people? Heal people? Help the homeless? Fight injustice? Fix poor people’s cars? Etc etc. choose your cause and build your structure. This is potluck activism and together we take care of it all.
You start your unit. You recruit your five. Just five.
You train them—tactically, strategically, ideologically.
Each of them does the same.
And so on.
You don’t try to grow fast. You grow tight.
You don’t try to be famous. You build quietly.
And when a full chain exists—from private to captain, to major, to colonel, to general—you suddenly realize:
You command a battalion. And you didn’t even mean to.
Somewhere else, the same thing is happening.
Another unit. Another chain. Another leader.
Eventually, those chains find each other—not because they’re looking, but because the mission connects them.
They meet.
They share structure.
They align on protocol.
They link chains.
One takes the higher post. The rest follow.
The rest move up. A new layer is added.
A division is born.
Then more meet.
They merge.
Another layer forms.
A regiment.
Then a corps.
Then an army.
And no one declared it.
It happened because the structure made it inevitable.
WHAT’S DIFFERENT ABOUT THIS ARMY
This army doesn’t rely on ideology alone.
It doesn’t demand consensus on every issue.
It doesn’t worship a single leader.
It doesn’t broadcast its power until it chooses to act.
It is bound by structure, not personality.
By discipline, not noise.
By purpose, not a party.
Each unit is autonomous.
Each division knows only what it needs to know.
Each rank answers to those above and below them.
If a chain is broken, it heals.
If a leader is removed, the unit stabilizes.
If a city is lost, another grows.
You don’t stop a structure like this.
You contain it, maybe. Delay it.
But every time you strike it, it adapts.
Because it wasn’t built in a moment. It was built on a mission.
THIS IS THE ARMY THAT THEY’VE ALWAYS FEARED
It doesn’t wear matching colors.
It doesn’t march in the open.
It doesn’t wait for permission.
It grows in basements, barbershops, union halls, bookstores, apartments, garages.
It trains in whispers, with communication passed down through an established command structure.
It votes in silence.
It leads without ego.
And when the time comes to act—on a courthouse, a police precinct, a statehouse, a corporate headquarters—it doesn’t show up as a crowd.
It shows up as a formation.
It shows up with:
- Commanders who’ve earned their post
- Subordinates trained for their mission
- Teams who can act in unison, or fragment into dozens of effective units
No chaos.
No mayhem.
Just pressure. Coordinated and relentless.
Because this isn’t about protesting anymore.
It’s about possession.
SECTION SEVEN: WHAT THIS ARMY CAN DO (WHEN IT CHOOSES TO ACT)
Now that the structure is in place and its organic growth explained, we step into the part the state fears most—the part that transforms this disciplined network into an undeniable force.
This next section focuses on what the army can actually do, once it chooses to act.
The government is not afraid of protests.
They’re not afraid of marches.
They’re not even afraid of riots.
They know how to handle chaos.
They’ve budgeted for your outrage.
They’ve got kettling routes mapped out and zip ties stacked by the thousands.
What they don’t have a plan for—what they’ve never had a plan for—is a force that knows exactly what it’s doing.
That’s you.
This army doesn’t act in desperation.
It acts with intention.
And when it acts, it does so at every level of the structure, in coordinated, flexible formations.
LET’S TALK CAPACITY
Let’s say a major commands a full battalion—3,906 members under them.
That major receives an order from their Colonel:
“Disrupt the city council vote. Full media presence. Nonviolent. Maximum stall. Minimum arrests.”
The major gives that order to their 5 captains.
Each captain activates 2 lieutenants, leaving 3 in reserve for other tasks.
Each lieutenant activates their 5 sergeants.
Each sergeant activates 3 corporals.
Each corporal brings their 5 privates.
Just like that—1,875 people show up at once.
Not as a mob.
As units.
Some block entrances.
Some chant and stall inside chambers.
Some stream live.
Some film police.
Some hold perimeter.
They arrive together.
They leave on command.
They stay for hours or days—not because they’re fueled by rage, but because they’re working a mission.

And that’s just one battalion.
Five majors make a regiment.
Five colonels make a division.
Five divisions make an army.
And at the top? The chief of the army.
The only person in the structure who sees the full scope, and only because the five major generals beneath him trust him enough to hold that view—for now.
But even he can be removed—by unanimous vote from the five beneath him.
Even he answers to the structure.

Here’s What This Army Can Do When It’s Ready
- Blockade city halls in 50 cities simultaneously
- Intercept and shut down ICE raids before they begin
- Occupy courthouses, disrupt foreclosures, and stop evictions
- Surround campaign events and force the truth into the national conversation
- Organize general strikes from the bottom up—pulling thousands off the job at once
- Dismantle pipelines, not as individual protesters, but as trained coordinated teams
- Stage walkouts and sit-ins in school districts, airports, ports, corporate HQs
And not as chaos. Not as vandalism.
As tactical disruption.
Every action is calculated.
Every member trained.
Every movement is made with full awareness of mission, media, and morale.
And when police show up?
We don’t scatter. We don’t scream.
We counter-form.
If one of us is taken, we don’t protest—we escalate.
Not blindly. Not destructively.
Strategically.
We make the cost of suppressing us greater than the cost of listening.
That is how we win.
SECTION EIGHT – WHAT COMES NEXT: THE TIPPING POINT
The next section turns the focus toward momentum and inevitability—how the structure you’ve built tips from preparation into activation, from resistance into real power, and what that final shift looks and feels like when the time arrives.
Movements don’t succeed when they win arguments.
They succeed when they change the cost of ignoring them.
The tipping point isn’t a hashtag. It’s not an election.
It’s not a celebrity endorsement, or a court ruling, or a viral moment.
It’s a shift in power perception.
When they realize we can’t be managed anymore.
When they realize every strike has backup, and every suppression spawns five more units.
When they realize that we are not one protest, not one riot, not one voice—but a structure they cannot unbuild—
That’s when they come to the table.
And not before.
THE TIPPING POINT IS LOCAL FIRST
It starts when:
- A lieutenant and their company shut down a city budget vote.
- A captain organizes a mass sick-out at a port that halts commerce for a week.
- A major disrupts deportations in multiple counties with coordinated blockades.
- A sergeant leads a pressure campaign that forces a corporation to reinstate fired workers.
Each victory spreads.
Each success signals capability.
Each action adds to the ledger of seriousness.
Suddenly, this isn’t a fringe idea anymore.
It’s a functional, working alternative to passive democracy.
THE TIPPING POINT IS INEVITABLE – BECAUSE IT’S BUILT IN
This structure grows organically, but not aimlessly.
The more people see it working:
- The more they join
- The faster it grows
- The stronger it becomes
And here’s the thing: everyone who joins brings five more.
Even if half the people fail. Even if infiltration slows it down.
Even if local leaders are arrested or removed—
The system survives.
Because no single person controls it.
Because everyone is replaceable, and nothing is dependent on personality.
This is why the state will never fully understand it:
They think in terms of faces.
We think in terms of functions.
And a system built on function—not fame, not fortune, not fear—is indestructible.
WHAT COMES NEXT IS CHOICE
Not every unit will act the same way.
Some will build gardens, deliver food, and run mutual aid hubs.
Some will operate school walkouts, tenant unions, labor uprisings.
Some will form tactical units to stop pipelines, halt foreclosures, or block jails.
Some will disrupt.
Some will construct.
Some will fight, if forced to.
But all of them will be acting under the same structure—
The same code.
The same principle:
“We do not wait to be rescued. We organize to take what we need.”

Not revolution as explosion—but revolution as reprogramming. Structured.
Not chaos. Not war. Not surrender.
But control.
And once it begins, there is no going back.
SECTION NINE: WHAT YOU CAN DO TODAY – THE FIRST FIVE
You don’t need a permission slip.
You don’t need to wait for the right moment, the right leader, or the right election cycle.
You are not powerless.
You are not alone.
You are not waiting anymore.
Here is where it begins:
You. Five people. A commitment.
THE FIRST STEP: START AS A PRIVATE
Anyone can do this.
You can start right now—today!
Commit to this structure, Private!
That’s an order!

That’s what every leader in this movement is—at first.
You don’t begin with a title.
You begin with a decision.
- You reach out to five people you trust.
- You explain the vision: structure, discipline, accountability, purpose.
- You agree to meet regularly. To train. To learn. To plan.
You don’t all need to know each other at first.
But they all need to know you.
You are now a corporal.
You now lead a unit.
And you make a promise to those five:
“I will lead you with clarity, and I will step aside when I’ve lost your trust.”
You create the anonymous voting channel.
You give them their Blue Keys.
You train them to lead.
And then—you go to work on your mission.
THE SECOND STEP: TEACH THE STRUCTURE
Your five each become corporals when they build their own five.
You help them do that.
They repeat the process.
They each become sergeants.
You become a lieutenant.
And the chain begins.
No noise.
No spectacle.
Just units forming, training, multiplying. Serving. Working the mission.
Each person knows:
- Their one superior
- Their five subordinates and their 4 fellow unit members.
- The mission
Each person holds:
- Power to remove their leader (with unanimous consent)
- Responsibility to grow their five
- Loyalty to something bigger than themselves
And the machine builds itself.
THE THIRD STEP: STAY READY, STAY SMALL, STAY FOCUSED
You’re not trying to go viral.
You’re trying to go deep.
Depth is what wins wars.
Depth is what holds power.
Depth is what keeps the system alive when the cameras are off.
So you grow slow, but real.
You train.
You rotate leadership.
You practice nonviolent disruption, defensive coordination, digital security.
You meet. You drill. You sharpen.
And when you meet another chain?
You link up, elect a superior from among your leaders, and start the next layer.
YOU DON’T NEED TO CHANGE THE WORLD. YOU JUST NEED TO BUILD FIVE.
This is the most radical part of all:
You don’t have to be a hero.
You don’t have to be perfect.
You don’t have to know everything.
You just have to build five people who build five people who build five people—
and commit to a structure that can no longer be stopped.
That’s how revolutions work now.
Not with storming castles.
Not with lone martyrs.
But with thousands of disciplined units who all know:
“When the call comes, we’re ready.
And until it comes, we grow.”

This is the return of people’s control.

They may cut off the chief of our army but that chief is immediately replaced by a major general. The ranks close in immediately. An army like this is unstoppable—a democracy like this unyielding.
